This list includes favorite things from this year (excluding books because they needed their own post)!
Favorite TV Shows: Ted Lasso, Bridgerton (Shonda Rhimes does it again), The Queen's Gambit, Schitt's Creek
Favorite Movie: Y'all, I can only recall watching two movies this year. I did really love the ones I watched: Happiest Season and Little Women.
Favorite Albums: Folklore + Evermore by Taylor Swift, The Third Gleam by The Avett Brothers, Gaslighter by The Chicks
Favorite Jeans: Madewell Curvy High Rise Skinny Jeans. These jeans are so stinkin' comfortable. They are stretchy so size down. I normally wear a 28 and need a 26 in these. The Sussex wash is my favorite. Don't forget to bring in a pair of old jeans to be recycled and get $20 off.
Favorite Leggings: Athleta Salutation Stash Pocket in Powervita. 2020 taught me that leggings need to have pockets and these deliver. Super soft and comfy. And don't forget that Athleta and LuluLemon have awesome return policies. If you buy something and aren't 100% satisfied, you can return it even after wearing it.
Favorite Tops: This short sleeve shirt in light heather grey (I own three because I wear them so much), this chambray relaxed button down, and this Madewell sweater in Golden Spinach.
Favorite Shoes: These Birkenstocks in Taupe Suede and these Madewell Lucie shoes in English Saddle.
Favorite Makeup: Beautycounter Dew Skin SPF Moisturizer (A lighter dewy coverage, but seriously my favorite and it feels so good on your skin. I wear shade #2 Light), Beautycounter Color Pinch Cream Blusher in Umber, and Skintwin Creamy Concealer (New BC concealer and I love it so. I wear Fair 2). See other makeup favorites in this blog post.
Favorite Jewelry: These Christie Studs in platinum and these Brave Earrings by Lettie and Row. Sabrina created the Brave Earrings just for Some Call Me Crunchy and they are so beautiful. I rotate the Christie Studs and Brave Earrings and that's basically the only jewelry I wear these days.
Favorite Newsletters: The Swipe Up by Erin Moon and The Lazy Letter by The Lazy Genius. These were also my favorites from last year. I don't read a ton of newsletters from top to bottom, but these are the exception.
Favorite Planner: Bullet Journaling for life. I love it because I can it make it what I want. See a quick start guide for bullet journalling here. I like to use this notebook.

...Have you heard all the buzz about double cleansing? Below you'll find a basic how-to and defense for double cleansing (with Some Call Me Crunchy product suggestions, of course)!
Why double cleanse?
Double Cleansing is a must because having a clean canvas to apply toners and skin nourishing serums is very important. If you spend lots of money on serums and hydrating creams, but your skin isn't clean, those powerhouse products won't actually do very much...
