Poetry Prints

These poems were written during a tricky time in my life. I had been in marriage counseling with my now ex-husband for actual years and deep down I knew my marriage was over, but there was this in between time when I kept fighting because I wanted to be able to say that I had given it my all. I wrote “Trust Her” and "Begin Again" because that whole process of ending a marriage was going to require a lot of trusting myself after all that I had already been through. And “To the Women Who Save Me” speaks for itself. There were so many women in my life who rallied around me during those couple years and I am so thankful I didn’t have to go through all of that alone. And finally, "Wild" is about rediscovering me and the freedom I found when I decided to choose myself.
