Christmas at Hogwarts

I’ve been in a bit of a reading slump. I go through phases where I TEAR through books one after another and then other times all I want to do is binge watch Netflix (I’m currently watching Jessica Jones, which is a Netflix original and the first superhero type storyline I have enjoyed in a very long time). I often find myself rereading favorite stories to help get myself back in the reading mood. Harry Potter is very often one of those series. And… Audible just made the Harry Potter audiobooks available for the first time ever* (they were previously only available at Pottermore). So, if you were curious what I’m reading right now and wondering why you haven’t seen a book review from me in a while, now you know. I’m listening to the Harry Potter books (Jim Dale’s narration is AMAZING) all over again and hoping that I find some other amazing books along the way.

Which leads me to questions that I have for you….

  1.  The Christmas scenes in the Harry Potter book and movies are some of my absolute favorite so, I desperately need to know what your favorite HP Christmas scene is?
  2. What should I read next? I’m obviously in need of some suggestions. I am open to most fiction genres and occasionally read a little nonfiction.

*If you use my Audible link and sign up for a free 30 day trial, you can get two audiobooks for free! Audible is my best friend since I’ve become a mom with very limited time to read. Audiobooks make cleaning so much more enjoyable.  🙂

  1. I would suggest you read Calling Me Home by Julie Kibler. I believe they are still selling it at Target. Great historical fiction book!
